Tertiary Information Services (TIS)

What is TIS?

The Tertiary Information Service provides a chance for all year twelve students across Victoria to gain information on application details, course types, costs, dates and procedures for tertiary entrance from experts from Universities, TAFES and Independent Tertiary Colleges.
TIS is run in sixteen different locations across the state, often for several days at a time. Please look at "TIS Sessions" for the dates and contact details of an event in your area.

How does it run?

Each session runs for 1 1/2 hours and is broken up into an informative and enjoyable presentation that looks at all the details pertaining to tertiary study including:
  • VTAC Information

  • Differences between institution types

  • Life after year twelve

The second part of the session is designed to enable students to gather publications from the institutions present as well as ask the representatives for information on courses, application procedures, housing and scholorship information.

Best of all TIS is a FREE event for schools and their students.
Simply, it is our chance to support your students in making the right decisions for their future.
