TIS Orientation Day 2010

Dear TISian,

Representatives from your institution are invited to the Tertiary Information Service (TIS) Orientation Day for 2010. The Orientation will be of benefit for all staff who will be attending a TIS event at any time throughout 2010. We will also be launching the new TIS PowerPoint presentation.

The Orientation will be held at the Victoria University Conference Centre, Flinders Street campus from 9.30am until approximately 2.00pm. It is important that attendees are registered and ready to start at 9.30am sharp.

The format of the day is as follows:

9.00 to 9.30am Registration

9.30 to 10.00am Welcome by President and Executive Group

10.00 to 10.30am Getting to know you

10.30 to 10.45am Morning Tea

10.45 to 11.00am Launch of the new TIS PowerPoint presentation

11.00 to 12.00pm Break out session -TIS information and using the PowerPoint presentation

12.00 to 12.30pm TIS meeting

12.30 to 1.00pm Centrelink Briefing

1.00 to 1.30pm VTAC Briefing by David Osborne

1.30 to 2.00pm Lunch

Please note that annual membership fees for full members will remain the same for 2010.
