Tertiary
Information
Service

A collective of universities, TAFE institutes and independent tertiary colleges helping students prepare for future careers through free events around Victoria.

How TIS Events Work

1

1

Year 11 and 12 students are invited to attend a local event with their whole cohort, as organised by their career adviser.

2

2

TIS event coordinators collaborate with institutions and schools within Victoria to organise free events in regional Victoria.

3

3

Year 11 and 12 students attend a presentation, then have the opportunity to meet with tertiary representatives to gain further information.

The information provided by the Tertiary Information Service focuses on VTAC and transitioning to tertiary education after high school. Where possible, we will tailor the information to the cohort in attendance before students can ask questions of tertiary representatives at the expo component.
